Director of People & Culture at ATB Financial
Kerilee is the Director of People & Culture at ATB. The journey to that role started with a question: ‘Do you know anybody who create and spearhead ATB’s health and wellness mandate?’ there were 3 people that she knew who could do that job – then the light went on and she realized that *she* was that person. Kerilee lives and breathes wellness: physical, mental and spiritual, and has a keen understanding of how the development and proliferation of a wellness mandate can be highly successful for a large organization. Kerilee has already developed and implemented strategies around physical health, mental health and women’s health for ATB, and hopes to evolve and expand those strategies. Her ultimate goals are to ensure that each associate can achieve a holistic view of their wellness, and have access to the tools, resources and framework needed for optimal wellness.
Outside of her work at ATB, she has been on the board of Discovery House Family Violence Prevention Society and is on the steering committee for Calgary’s Bottom Line Conference, which is set to return in 2016. She is also a member of the Western Council for Diversity and Inclusion. Kerilee and her husband Richard have 2 children; Sofia, 10 and Oliver,13 who keep them very busy. They both volunteer on the various sports teams that their children that their children participate in: swimming, hockey, soccer and ringette. As a family, they ski (cross country and downhill) and these former competitive triathletes now enjoy supporting their kids compete in various KOS competitions. Kerilee says she “enjoys being a spectator after all those years of jumping in cold lakes at 8 am!”. Kerilee also fulfilled a personal goal to be certified as a Yoga Alliance instructor about a year ago and teaches privately from time to time.
