Greg Kyllo is the National Director of Program Innovation at the Canadian Mental Health Association, National Office. Greg comes to CMHA from Renascent, – an accredited, publicly-funded, non-profit, residential addiction treatment centre based in Toronto. There he worked as a front- line addiction counsellor before becoming Clinical Manager of Client Care.
Greg worked previously in the business world and has 15 years of experience in progressive leadership roles with three Fortune 50 industry leading companies. This experience enabled him to build national teams as well as develop innovative chronic disease management programs to support Canada’s health care professionals.
Greg has a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree with a double major in marketing and business policy. His time in competitive business environments, coupled with his clinical public health experience, gives him a unique combination of expertise and perspective which have informed his passion for peer and patient-centered recovery supports. Greg is a strong advocate for increased access to bio-psycho-social-spiritual community-based mental health and addiction programs in Canada. He grew up in Winnipeg, attended University of Manitoba and McGill University, and has lived in Toronto for the past 20 years.
