Jordan Madarash is a 31 year old Business Agent for General Teamsters Local No. 362 located in Edmonton, Alberta which represents an average of 7,500 members. He is also a valued member of the Teamsters Canada Youth Committee. Married and a proud father of 2 sons, Jordan worked his first Teamster job when he was 17.
His primary divisions are the Pre-Board Screeners working throughout the Alberta airports and the Armoured Car industry representing both Garda Cash Services (formally G4S) and Brink’s Canada Limited. He was previously employed with G4S Cash Services for 7 years and was a part of the investigative team from the University of Alberta HUB Mall shooting that took place June 15, 2012. With this major incident and how it touched so many people, Local 362 launched a mental health initiative that started December 2014.
Balancing between family, a demanding job and a social awareness that drives him to take action and make a difference, Jordan is representing not only Teamsters workers but also all Canadians.
