Emily is a managing lead and environmental scientist whose focus is leading people and projects. As a manager, she focuses on getting the right people into the right roles. With a fast growing team in the environmental services industry, recruiting and retention are top priorities while maintaining a fun and easy-going, yet highly motivated, office culture. Emily works with the leadership team to ensure staff are getting the opportunities and experience they are interested in, while still achieving their own unique balance of work and play.Using her knowledge and regulatory background she leads clients and multi-disciplinary teams through the environmental assessment process to permit large-scale natural resource projects in the power, mining, and oil & gas sectors. Most recently she has permitted a run of river hydro facility on Vancouver Island and a number of small pipelines in north-eastern BC.
